The business traces its yacht building history to the Proteksan and Turquoise brands in the 1970s. Proteksan joined with Turquoise in 1997, and MB Holding acquired a majority stake in 2014. The yard now builds custom steel and aluminium motor yachts at facilities in Pendik and Kocaeli.
