New York Yacht Club | Americana Guide

The New York Yacht Club was established in 1844 after John Cox Stevens and eight friends met aboard Gimcrack in New York Harbor. Its Harbour Court clubhouse in Newport was acquired in 1987 and anchors the club’s New England sailing program. This club has not yet been independently assessed or awarded Americana stars.
